HAIR

On your wedding day, every bride hopes to look great, especially when it comes to her hair and skin,
while the right makeup or a fabulous hair style has the power to make us feel our prettiest, we need a good starting base first.

Starting with your Hair: if you have been colouring or highlighting your hair, it is crucial to take care of it, by using good professional Shampoos and Conditioners and even treatments to keep your hair shiny and healthy looking, as a professional hairstylist I would recommend a shampoo and conditioner free of  sulphate-phosphate as this being one of the ingredients that wash out colours, also Treat your hair with a good treatment Mask twice a week for 5 min, while being in the shower, regular trimmings are also important.
Ensuring a good healthy diet is also very important for the normal growth and shine of your hair.

When picking the right Hairstyle for your hair, considered the texture of hair, book a consultation appointment with your Hairstylist to make sure this would be the right style for your hair, also is very important to considered the style of your wedding gown, hair accessories that your may be wearing, eg. Veil, tiara, etc. once you and your hairstylist have agreed to the hairstyle you will be wearing on your wedding day is important to book for a trial of that hairstyle, this will insure that you will be happy with your hairstyle on that especial day.

Bridesmaids: Have all bridesmaids picked a hairstyle that they may like or the bride agrees with,
Hairstylist love having pictures ready for them for when they arrive at prep place, this make things run smoothly, also everyone who is getting hair done the morning of, should have their hair washed and completely dry the day before the wedding, this will avoid time consuming.

MAKE-UP

it is crucial to have clean, healthy skin which is easy to achieve with the right skin care regiment,
if you don’t already have one, it’s never too late to start one that works for you. There are products out there for every skin type and when used morning and night, your skin will look and feel better.
Your morning routine should consist on washing your face and applying a moisturizer before any make-up application. in the evening, you will need a make-up remover, cleanser, toner and moisturizer. I also suggest exfoliating your face and using a mask once a week. This helps slough off the old cells allowing new ones to grow. I would also recommend drinking plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated at all times, eating healthy is key to ensuring your skin is in good condition.  In the months leading up to your wedding, regular facials are very beneficial to achieving a healthy glow.  Don't forget to have your eyebrows (or lip ) professionally shaped as they really frame a face and you can easily maintain this every 3-4 weeks going forward.
