Ottawa Wedding Magazine’s featured cover shoot

Covering all the possibilities for a show- stopping image for the one shown on this issue’s cover was a task that only a few people can tackle. The coordination and planning that goes into a cover shoot for Ottawa Wedding Magazine involves committed professionals, an eagle-eye attention to details, good team work and most of all a passion to make our cover look fabulous.
Expertise behind the Scenes
We get one chance to make sure that what you see on our cover each issue is outstanding. It must reflect the trends of the season, with innovative stylizing. In this case, we wanted the rich, deep tones of fall and winter, coupled with vintage romance – sprinkled with a little bit of edge. On this issue’s cover, our models Brandon and Anngela perfectly fit the roles of a picturesque bride in waiting for a groom who is strong, fearless and extraordinarily debonair.
For the overall look our stylists wanted to achieve a moody feel with dark navies and merlot-reds: mirroring the warm tones of fall and winter. The bride’s gown offsets this perfectly with a dramatic and romantic feel—full skirt and beaded top— and the champagne fabrics give it a look of true sophistication that any cooler-bride- to-be would love to have. The groom’s rugged good looks are transformed into debonair charm with this stylish suit from Moore’s and grooming to perfection from Warren Chase.
