What were your priorities for your wedding day?
Our priorities were to fully enjoy every moment surrounded by our loved ones and share the joy and excitement of the day.
What inspired the striking design of your wedding?
We were inspired by the elegance of modern minimalism, the soft drama of natural light and the architectural beauty of our venue. Our focus was to embody timeless elegance and sophistication. The design centered around a clean, refined aesthetic using glass, crystal, and lush white florals to create a contemporary yet warm atmosphere.
How would you describe the theme, style and colour palette?
Our theme was minimalist modern with an emphasis on ethereal elegance. The style featured crystal-clear acrylic elements, tall glass candle pillars, and crisp white florals. We kept the palette clean and classic—white, black, and clear tones—allowing natural light and transparency to play a leading role in the ambiance.
What unique details made your day special?
The seamless blend of architectural lines, a custom monogrammed dance floor, and minimalist tablescapes created a striking yet serene environment. The use of natural daylight pouring through floor-to-ceiling windows gave everything a soft, glowing quality that felt truly magical, accurately reflecting our personal style. It was incredible to live out this fairy tale in some of the Capital’s most iconic landmarks, including the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica and the National Gallery of Canada.
What were your favourite parts of the day?
We have loved ones scattered across many parts of the world. It was overwhelmingly special to see everyone come together on the day and create memories that we will cherish forever. We are very fortunate to have so many amazing people in our lives who made this day unforgettable.
