Edna and Youri’s gorgeous summer wedding was visually lovely, with sentiment to match.
The intimacy of the celebration made it memorable, this bride says. “We have a big family and we decided to do it in a small and private, beautiful place.”
One highlight was the outdoor ceremony. “It was really special. The exchange of vows made us so emotional. And the audience couldn’t stop crying. That sure didn’t help.”
She also notes, “The Wakefield Mill made the wedding feel so [wonderfully] warm and fresh. We were surrounded by trees, flowers, a waterfall, family, friends and different crews. All these elements made it the favorite day of our lives.”
Photographer Madonna Njuguna captured the magic. “There was so much joy, laughter and love in the air on Youri and Edna’s wedding day,” she comments. “Not just between the two of them but also from their bridal party, friends and family. I spent the majority of the day either laughing hysterically or tearing up in the moment. I wanted to make sure that their wedding photos captured this in the most authentic way possible.”
