“We brought My Big Fat Arab Wedding to life” with a unique, personal twist, says Pamela, who married Peter in a day full of meaning last summer. “We put thoughtful details into every part of our wedding,” she adds. “We used lush greenery and wood accents while embracing grand Arab elements—a seven-tier, five-foot cake, a production entrance and drummers on a car.”
Along with the joyous sight and sound of those drummers playing, other highlights included what Pamela calls personal favourites: bread and butter instead of labneh and crackers, donuts for guests gifts and puzzles used for the seating chart and cocktail games.
