“Like so many brides who dream of their big day,” Nicole says, “I had a specific vision for what I wanted our wedding to look like. For me, it was a blend of sophistication and whimsy, with a touch of nature’s beauty. I wanted to create a modern, enchanted garden while still holding on to that classic wedding feel. Above all else, I wanted it to be a party.”
As for décor, “We chose a colour scheme of pink and gold, with lots of greenery. Pink symbolized love and romance, while the gold added a touch of glamour and sophistication. The use of greenery tied in the enchanted garden theme, giving the venue a fresh and natural feel.”
In fact, that natural sophistication was thanks to careful curation. “Every aspect of our wedding—from my dress to the flowers, stationary, table settings and photography—was thoughtfully planned and executed to bring the vision to life,” this bride notes. “My favourite part of the day had to be the overwhelming joy I felt being surrounded by my closest friends and family watching them all celebrate and embrace the zaffeh dancing and truly immersing themselves in the music. The energy was contagious, and it was in those moments that it all hit me: All the months of meticulous planning and tireless preparation had culminated in this moment of pure happiness. I realized these are the moments we’ll cherish forever.”
